ROGER GILDING

Roger gained a BA Hons. (1st class) in sculpture and ceramics at Camberwell School of Art, London/ Since then he has had a varied career in the arts, running his own workshop, sitting on validation committees, lecturing in 3D design and visula studies, and working on community projects. He runs classes in life drawing and mixed media for KAG, and has just had his first solo exhibition here in Crete.

SARA GILDING

Sara has a degree in Fine Art and a Master's Degree in Visual Culture. In the UK she had a varied career within the arts, including lecturing, community arts projects and gallery education.

Since moving to Crete, Sara has returned to the pursuit of her own creative projects, which to date has focussed upon the photographic documentation of the Cretan landscape and its people. She has exhibited her photographs, runs photography workshops and has established the Apokoronas Photography Group.

FRANCESCA HARRISON

Francesca is a watercolour artist who paints and sells locally as well as undertaking commissions from abroad and running workshops in this medium. She is also an experienced and accomplished event organiser, and is involved in the drama content of the festival.

PHIL HARRISON

Phil has been a professional musician and songwriter all his life, and is also a linguistics PhD. He runs a local recording studio, and is responsible for programming the concerts and festivals. He also performs and records music with John as 'Big Fish', and runs music and language workshops.

JOHN MANSELL

John is a talented performer on many stringed instruments, and also a songwriter. He has for many years been a music and language teacher, and regularly accompanies visiting musicians at the concerts and festivals. For several years now, he has performed and recorded music with Phil as 'Big Fish'.

LIZZIE MANSELL

Lizzie started up and now runs 'Cats Chorus', a women's choir that sings at many of the KAG events. She is also responsible for all the catering that takes place, and is in charge of sponsorship for KAG.
